We are a community made up of the families of our workers and the families of our customers. The community revolves around managing the life systems of thousands of buildings spread far and wide across vast geographic territory. The glue that holds it all together is the vigilance of our technical workers and the empathy they have for our customers who are faced with the responsibility of managing buildings they may never see. Mr. Quiet Power, our new logo, is dedicated to all those who capture the real information and do the real work

It all started with a simple idea

When we launched our company in 1992, our business model was based on the simplicity and strength of a triangle.

The idea was to build an organization whose success would be determined by its ability to balance the interests of its customers, with the wants and needs of its associate employees, and the interests of the company itself - three legs of a virtual triangle.

This triangle would only maintain balance by finding an area where all three entities shared the same objectives and the same stakes.

For the customer, Pegnato & Pegnato would develop a process guaranteed to provide unbiased information upon which facilities managers could confidently make decisions and proactively maintain their building systems (perhaps without ever seeing them). We made a commitment to provide the information for free and to do the real hands-on data gathering and subsequent repair work ourselves.

For our associates, we pledged to train technical workers and their support team to a level previously unseen in our industry, and in the process honor the value and importance of real work, and the people who do it. Their rewards would be based upon their ability to diagnose the real problem, fix it right the first time, and capture all data in the process.

For the company, we identified a way to differentiate ourselves and profit through integrity. Because we decided that we would never be in the business of selling replacement product, our incentive would always be to solve the customer's real problem via least-cost, guaranteed repair. No compromises.

By design, in this approach, the customer, the company and its associates share the same objectives. Everyone wins when the life of an existing building system is preserved and extended through honest and authentic service. Simple idea. Everyone sleeps well at night.

Since the birth of this concept in 1992, Pegnato & Pegnato has assessed roof and parking lot systems on 30,000-plus large retail and commercial facilities. The company now services buildings in all fifty states, Puerto Rico, and has just moved into Canada.

In a few short years, Pegnato & Pegnato has become recognized as the industry leader and best alternative for Commercial Building System Maintenance and Repair in North America.

But the quiet power of the balanced triangle goes beyond roofing. Over the last few years, our loyal customers have continually requested that we apply our proprietary data gathering and repair process to new services. "While you're up on the roof, can you take care of my HVAC? By the way, ask your guy to report on the condition of the parking lot."

In response, we have expanded the Pegnato & Pegnato balanced triangle model beyond roof management and repair to include a complete suite of building systems services. With the help and trust of our customers, we will continue to innovate ways to preserve and improve the longevity of commercial and retail real estate facilities.

For our associates, expanded services have led to career growth and personal satisfaction as new training has upgraded the skills of all involved.

All of which proves something your mother has probably told you a thousand times. The way to get what you want, is to help other people to get what they want.
